House Tarax of the Western Winds

And the cunning princess Dandara of the House Tarax of the Western Wind spread the myth that a dandelion blown away may fulfill any wish of the heart and the people took up the myth and spread it further so that dandelions sprang up all over the land and with it her power grew and her house blossomed. This gave rise to the saying, “That’s a dandelion story,” which still means, “This story isn’t true; it was spread by someone who stands to gain from you believing it.”

They lived in the area that is now the Continent Bahakham, which was green back then and was likely connected to present-day Island of Lobane via the Mossland Bridge during the time of the 1st Cycle of the Mosscreeper.

It is said princess Dandara was so kindhearted and quick of mind, that even the insects came to her and offered her jewels and gems so she might look with favour upon them. There was one beetle so devoted to her, that he wanted to gift her the greatest jewel he could beheld: the sinking western sun. However in his attempt he lost his life to the rays of a scorching sun. The princess mourned his loss and from this day on it was forbidden to bring her gifts, for no jewel was worth a life to her.

And so she spread the myth of the dandelions power, in the same way that wind spreads it's seed and all over the continent new flowers sprang forth. Now wherever seven dandelions stood close to each other, the princess could step between them and step out from a place entirely different within the span of a heartbeat. She could move all over the continent, wherever dandelions stood and her influence quickened further, as much as her powers grew.
